Engineering Aide - Electrical Test (Power Electronics)

Location: Andover, Massachusetts, United States; onsite engineering role

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year

What you will do

• Work under engineer supervision on complex and specialized electrical engineering tasks.
• Support the design and development of new power supply products and the maintenance of existing products.
• Perform product evaluations, qualifications, and electrical testing.
• Generate test reports and documentation packages for new products.
• Interface with internal organizations to address product-related issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of position-related experience.
• Strong knowledge of analog or power electronics circuits.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, electronic loads, and power supplies.
• Understanding of schematics, PCB layouts, circuit simulation, assembly drawings, and test specifications.
• Knowledge of component types and ratings, voltage, power and current relationships, basic op-amp theory, and transistor operation.
• Excellent soldering and circuit prototyping skills, along with strong written, verbal, presentation, and cross-functional communication skills.

Nice to have

• Basic programming or scripting experience.
