Senior Manager, Professional Services Delivery

Location: United States; candidates near San Antonio, Texas work hybrid with two office days, while other US-based candidates may work 100% remotely. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Salary: $132,149.00–$193,856.30 per year, depending on geographic market, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Own delivery for a portfolio of professional services engagements covering private cloud, infrastructure modernization, migration, and transformation.
• Lead architects, consultants, engineers, and delivery professionals while managing performance, coaching, career growth, and succession planning.
• Manage workforce planning, utilization, capacity forecasting, staffing alignment, and contractor or partner support.
• Review Statements of Work, resource plans, estimates, delivery risks, and operational feasibility before project kickoff.
• Partner with Sales, Solutions Architecture, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Customer Success to resolve delivery issues and manage commercial commitments.
• Improve delivery frameworks, project controls, reporting standards, methodology, and handoff into steady-state support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, engineering, computer science, project management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of experience in professional services, consulting, infrastructure delivery, or enterprise technology services.
• 3+ years of experience managing technical teams or delivery projects.
• Experience leading customer programs and technology implementations, including workforce planning, resource management, and utilization tracking.
• Experience reviewing Statements of Work, delivery estimates, and commercial commitments, and leading customer-facing discussions.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering private cloud, VMware, infrastructure modernization, migration, or data center transformation programs.
• Knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation, virtualization, networking, storage, security, backup, disaster recovery, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience supporting healthcare, financial services, government, or other regulated industries.
• Experience managing fixed-fee, milestone-based, time-and-materials, or outcome-based engagements.
