Social Media & Community Lead (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote - United States

Annual base salary: $99,100–$123,900 USD, plus potential bonus and equity.

Cybersecurity technology provider delivering threat hunting, detection, and remediation solutions to commercial customers, with a focus on MSPs, IT professionals, security professionals, and partners.

What you will do

• Own and grow social channels including LinkedIn, X, Reddit, and YouTube, publishing at least five times per week.
• Create, schedule, and publish copy, short-form video, creative images, and reactive content while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
• Build and moderate the Reddit community, manage social listening, and engage with comments, tags, and direct messages.
• Manage the social advocacy platform and employee advocacy onboarding, using gamification and collaborating with the People team.
• Partner with marketing, sales, events, product, campaigns, creative, and copywriting teams to develop content and event-focused social strategies.
• Track and report social performance, provide recommendations, manage crisis communications, and advise teams and partners on social best practices.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience managing social media as a primary role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce concise, on-brand copy under deadlines.
• Experience building social media programs, managing content calendars and asset libraries, and coordinating concurrent campaigns.
• Working knowledge of social SEO, copywriting, social listening, and social advocacy platforms.
• Ability to lead cross-functionally and understand emerging cybersecurity and MSP topics.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to industry events and conferences.
