Community Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote - USA. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is based; visa sponsorship is not available.

Base salary: $136,000–$185,000 USD per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design customer community programs that accelerate feature adoption, troubleshooting, resource discovery, and peer learning.
• Build customer-to-customer engagement programs that encourage members to answer questions and share best practices.
• Create feedback loops that bring product ideas and customer insights into product workflows.
• Scale self-service and peer support through moderators, members, and recognition programs across time zones.
• Use data to measure and optimize adoption, satisfaction, engagement, and the business value of the community.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, customer success, field, and marketing teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building customer and community-related programs.
• 5 years of experience working in technology.
• Strong familiarity with Slack and other community platforms.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build welcoming connections with users.
• Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success teams.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• 8+ years of experience in technology, particularly SaaS or cybersecurity.
• Comfort with technical content and product roadmaps.
• Experience building scalable engagement programs and influencing cross-functional teams.
• Experience using creative solutions in fast-paced environments.
