Senior Market Lead - Sponsor Finance Coverage

Location: TX - 2121 N. Pearl Street; hybrid work arrangement balancing on-site and remote work

Salary: $200,000–$250,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and location.

What you will do

• Acquire and develop strategic relationships with private equity sponsors and generate new business.
• Screen and conduct ongoing diligence on sponsors using reference checks, data sources, and market intelligence.
• Build trusted-advisor relationships by providing industry insight, leverage and enterprise-value comparables, diligence introductions, and broader banking solutions.
• Assist with opportunity screening, loan structuring, credit events, deal negotiations, and fulfillment.
• Coordinate with commercial relationship managers, leveraged finance underwriters, and credit officers across the bank.
• Maintain CRM pipelines, participate in portfolio reviews, and lead periodic reviews of sponsor relationships.

Requirements

• 10+ years of leveraged finance experience.
• Proven experience developing and managing commercial banking client relationships.
• Expertise in loan structuring, business development, credit quality management, and financial statement analysis.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, cash flow analysis, and valuation techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
• Legal eligibility to work at the specified US location is required; this position does not offer visa sponsorship.
