Junior Floor Supervisor (Housekeeping)

What you will do

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and pool areas after cleaning to verify quality standards.
• Run sold-room reports, verify room status, prioritize cleaning, and update departing-room information.
• Coordinate Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry operations.
• Document and resolve discrepant-room issues with the Front Desk and communicate updates between shifts.
• Prepare and communicate room-assignment changes and complete required paperwork.
• Support hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, coaching, and motivation of employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to work an entire shift standing, walking, kneeling, and performing bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling activities.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance.
• Ability to use computers or point-of-sale systems and communicate clearly and professionally.
