Principal Product Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Define and execute multi-year product roadmaps for critical oncology genomic profiling software initiatives.
• Translate business, scientific, clinical, and technical goals into cohesive end-to-end workflows and software specifications.
• Own the product lifecycle from order ingestion through laboratory execution and patient reporting.
• Align Engineering, R&D, Commercial, Clinical, Operations, Quality, and Regulatory stakeholders through influence and technical credibility.
• Lead product backlogs and Agile ceremonies while validating solutions with laboratory operations and customers.
• Use LLMs and generative AI to accelerate product discovery, requirements synthesis, and operational insight.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience in high-scale software or biotech environments, with Director-level operating experience.
• Experience launching new software products from the ground up in a startup or internal incubator environment.
• Deep experience in regulated environments, including FDA design controls, HIPAA, IEC 62304, or ISO standards.
• Technical fluency with APIs, microservices, LIMS, data platforms, and event-driven systems.
• Hands-on experience using LLMs and generative AI for product workflows, requirements generation, or operational insight.
• BS/MS in a relevant technical, scientific, or quantitative discipline, plus strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in HealthTech, MedTech, genomics, or a related regulated industry.
• MBA or equivalent experience.
