Senior Mobile Software Engineer (iOS)

Location: Remote within Northern Ireland; Belfast-based team hub

What you will do

• Design and implement complex native iOS features and architectures using Swift.
• Own complex projects from concept through delivery while partnering with Product and other stakeholders.
• Lead code reviews, establish quality standards, mentor junior engineers, and support technical decision-making.
• Improve maintainability, performance, resilience, shared components, APIs, and technical debt.
• Monitor production services, diagnose critical issues, and participate in on-call duties.
• Improve development tooling, CI/CD, testing, deployment practices, and team knowledge-sharing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on native mobile development.
• Advanced proficiency in native iOS development with Swift.
• Experience independently designing and implementing complex algorithms and architectures.
• Hands-on experience managing CI/CD processes with tools such as GitHub Actions.
• Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, including test automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; leadership and mentoring experience.
