Salary: $171,200–$273,000 annually; $205,800–$298,400 annually in select San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas.

What you will do

• Prototype ambiguous interactions and device-capability concepts directly in iOS code, turning early ideas into tangible experiences.
• Use iOS platform capabilities such as WidgetKit, App Intents, Live Activities, and Shortcuts while applying native standards or designing bespoke solutions when appropriate.
• Develop reusable interaction patterns and prototyping tools for teams working on the iOS app.
• Create training and documentation that enable designers to prototype directly in production mobile codebases.
• Partner with designers and engineers across the organization on native solutions, custom approaches, and ambiguous cross-team problems.
• Use data and learnings from shipped features to improve prototyping tools and craft decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience at the intersection of product design and iOS engineering.
• Deep hands-on fluency in Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C.
• Strong knowledge of iOS platform standards, Apple Human Interface Guidelines, and native frameworks.
• Experience building working code-based prototypes for ambiguous concepts.
• Experience creating tools, documentation, or training that improves the capabilities of designers and engineers.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and evangelism skills, with an interest in AI-assisted coding tools.
