Base pay: $164,000–$282,900 per year

What you will do

• Define and execute the Therapeutics Development & Supply AI Solutions strategy and portfolio roadmap.
• Lead the design, validation, and delivery of AI/ML, generative AI, and agentic co-scientist solutions.
• Build reusable solution patterns, evaluation frameworks, shared components, and agentic architectures.
• Set standards for model development, testing, monitoring, documentation, reproducibility, and code review.
• Partner with data, platform, and technology teams on deployment, integration, MLOps, orchestration, and observability.
• Lead and grow a team of applied data scientists, ML scientists, and GenAI/NLP engineers while expanding AI capabilities across TDS.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in engineering, data science, computer science, statistics, operations research, or a related quantitative field.
• 10+ years of applied data science, machine learning, or AI solution development experience, including at least 3 years in people leadership.
• Hands-on expertise with Python, applied machine learning, statistical modeling, generative AI, LLMs, agentic patterns, AWS, and Snowflake.
• Experience delivering AI/ML solutions into production and driving sustained adoption through reusable components and shared tooling.
• Ability to align technical and business stakeholders at Senior Director and VP levels and collaborate with scientists and subject matter experts.
• Work location is Spring House or Malvern, Pennsylvania, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in pharmaceutical R&D, CMC or process development, life sciences manufacturing, clinical supply, or GxP environments.
• Experience with generative AI and agentic solutions, including evaluation, guardrails, and orchestration.
• Familiarity with MLOps, model registries, feature stores, automated retraining, monitoring, knowledge graphs, and semantic layers.
