Agent Strategist (AI)

Location: On-site in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY

Salary: $200,000–$290,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end deployment of AI agents from initial scope through conversation design, tooling, evaluation, launch, and continuous production iteration.
• Advise enterprise executives and customer teams on AI strategy, business outcomes, and long-term deployment roadmaps.
• Manage complex programs across engineering, product, procurement, compliance, business units, and senior leadership.
• Manage portfolios of agents as they scale to new use cases, geographies, and increasing technical complexity.
• Identify customer needs and feed them into product, research, and platform development.
• Manage resourcing, commercial strategy, revenue opportunities, and cost-to-serve outcomes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in high-stakes enterprise customer-facing roles, ideally with deep ownership of a named enterprise account.
• Strong customer relationship management, communication, strategic problem-solving, ownership, and delivery skills.
• Technical aptitude, including the ability to read API documentation, understand data models and system architecture, and evaluate engineering trade-offs.
• Experience leading a company, business unit, forward-deployed team, or comparable technical and business initiatives with financial accountability.
• Hands-on experience building or deploying AI/LLM agents in production, including evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG, and prompt engineering.
• Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field, equivalent practical experience, and/or an MBA.
