HR Director, Global Contingent Workforce

Location: Anywhere in the United States. Candidates within 50 miles of a hirify.global office work in a hybrid capacity with a minimum of eight onsite days per month. Onsite attendance at a hirify.global office may also be required during interviews.

Salary: $165,400–$295,600 USD, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Develop and execute the enterprise contingent workforce strategy, governance model, and multi-year roadmap.
• Own the contingent labor lifecycle, from demand planning and requisition intake through onboarding, extensions, tenure monitoring, and offboarding.
• Manage MSPs, staffing suppliers, independent contractors, and statement-of-work supplier relationships, including contracts, rate cards, performance standards, and business reviews.
• Oversee spend, budgeting, forecasting, supplier optimization, cost savings, and cost avoidance.
• Drive compliance across worker classification, co-employment, tax, privacy, tenure, and jurisdictional requirements.
• Lead VMS optimization, workforce technology integrations, reporting, automation, analytics, and executive dashboards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 12 or more years of progressive experience in workforce management, contingent workforce programs, procurement, MSP, talent acquisition, HR operations, or a related field.
• Seven or more years leading enterprise-scale contingent workforce programs.
• Experience managing MSP and VMS solutions, contingent labor spend, supplier contracts, rate cards, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Expertise in worker classification, co-employment risk, independent contractor governance, compliance, and statement-of-work engagements.
• Strong leadership, executive communication, analytical, financial-management, change-management, and stakeholder-influence skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree, preferably an MBA or related advanced degree.
• Certified Contingent Workforce Professional certification or comparable credential.
• Experience supporting programs across North America, EMEA, APAC, and Latin America.
• Experience with SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, VNDLY, Flextrack, Workday, Coupa, or comparable systems.
• Experience designing total talent, external workforce, or workforce-transformation strategies.
