Product Manager (Associate Director) - Forecasting

Location: New York, NY; hybrid work with three days per week in the office

Salary: $193,500–$203,000 per year for New York / New Jersey

What you will do

• Own and scale demand forecasting and ordering processes for customer SKUs.
• Map existing forecasting models, data inputs, constraints, and operational workflows to identify improvement opportunities.
• Define forecasting and ordering metrics connected to product availability, customer fill rates, waste reduction, and financial outcomes.
• Build a roadmap for data investments, model improvements, and operational enhancements.
• Guide engineering and data science development of data pipelines, demand logic, promotional adjustments, and cold-start forecasting.
• Partner with analytics, marketing, operations, and leadership to deliver roadmap milestones and communicate business impact.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional experience in product management, supply chain, or operations.
• Practical experience with forecasting and replenishment; food or perishables experience is preferred.
• Strong SQL and self-service analytics skills, including the ability to build simple visualizations in tools such as Looker.
• Understanding of forecasting concepts, accuracy metrics, ordering, procurement, production planning, or replenishment systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-alignment skills in complex technical environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with end-to-end operational outcomes spanning forecast inputs, customer experience, and financial performance.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems, simplify complex strategies, and drive continuous improvement.
