Associate Storage/Systems Engineer

Location: New York, New York; hybrid workplace with travel to client projects and shadowing opportunities 50% or more of the time. Existing U.S. work authorization is required.

Compensation: $80,000–$88,000 per year in on-target earnings, including base salary and applicable target bonus.

What you will do

• Complete a three-month technical training program focused on storage within the Modern Data Center practice.
• Support client projects after training based on skills, interests, and business needs.
• Collaborate across teams and contribute to successful project delivery.
• Analyze infrastructure issues, solve complex problems, and recommend innovative solutions.
• Manage competing priorities and deliver work to deadlines.
• Travel to support client projects and shadowing opportunities.

Requirements

• Experience with infrastructure solutions and VMware.
• Experience or working knowledge of data centers.
• Technical degree completed by January 11, 2027, or completion of a technical bootcamp.
• Ability to communicate effectively, collaborate on teams, and work proactively.
• Existing U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Willingness to travel 50% or more of the time is required.

Nice to have

• Prior internship, co-op, or research experience in IT, software, or a related field.
• Certifications such as Dell EMC EMCISA/DCA-ISM, CCENT, CCNA, Network+, Server+, Security+, VCTA, or CCA-V.
