Data Center Manager (AI)

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Plano, TX (On-site 5 days per week)

Salary: $137,000 – $183,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage and lead a team of data center technicians to ensure operational excellence.
• Maintain high availability, reliability, and security across all data center environments.
• Oversee the racking, cabling, and configuration of server, storage, and network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues in advanced AI systems.
• Document data center layout and network topology using DCIM software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure deployments with business goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with critical data center infrastructure systems.
• Proficiency in power distribution, air flow management, and capacity planning.
• Basic understanding of Linux administration.
• Experience setting up networking appliances (Ethernet and InfiniBand) across multiple locations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
• Must be able to work on-site in Plano, TX, 5 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with network protocols such as TCP/IP, OSPF, SNMP, and VLANs.
• Background in large-scale distributed data center environments.
• Experience working with auditors for ISO/SOC compliance.
• Familiarity with Supermicro and Nvidia hardware.
• Previous experience in data center team management.
