Billing Analyst (SAP BRIM)

Location: Works from home in Charlotte, NC, United States; remote options may be available outside the Charlotte area, while the role is primarily office-based and may require up to 5% travel.

What you will do

• Execute monthly billing cycles across multiple customer segments using SAP BRIM.
• Validate rating, charging, invoicing, pricing, taxes, discounts, and contractual terms.
• Perform pre- and post-billing reconciliations and resolve data, usage, and customer-hierarchy discrepancies.
• Audit billing data for policy, SOX control, tariff, and contractual compliance.
• Support UAT, ORT, system releases, migrations, new product implementations, and billing process improvements.
• Build billing dashboards and KPI reports and collaborate with Finance, IT, Accounting, Collections, Customer Care, and Revenue Operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in billing operations, preferably in telecommunications, SaaS, or subscription billing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation, and reconciliation.
• Strong analytical, investigative, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with SAP BRIM is preferred, including Convergent Invoicing, FICA, or SOM.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or Looker is preferred.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of telecom product hierarchies, usage-based billing, and taxation such as E911, USF, and SLED.
• Experience with enterprise-scale SAP BRIM environments.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and revenue recognition principles.
• SAP BRIM certification or formal training.
