Senior Software Engineer (Gen AI)

Location: Office-based in Chicago, IL; Peoria, IL; or Irving, TX (Dallas), United States. Relocation assistance is not available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $112,710–$183,140 per year.

What you will do

• Build and deploy generative AI assistants, processing pipelines, tooling, and software.
• Develop Python and Go services using object-oriented principles and FastAPI.
• Design and deploy cloud solutions on AWS using CloudFormation, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, and SageMaker Studio.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and manage software through Git.
• Apply LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, LLM, and prompt engineering techniques.
• Develop edge-device components, productionize analytics with data scientists, and contribute to machine learning and AI pipelines with Apache Airflow.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience and strong knowledge of object-oriented programming.
• 3+ years designing and developing applications with Python and/or Go.
• Experience with modern generative AI architectures, including multi-agent systems, context management, MCP, and long-term memory.
• Experience with FastAPI, LangGraph, LangChain, Git, and GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools.
• Extensive knowledge of software development life cycles, product architecture, technical integration, and testing strategies.
• Strong communication, technical writing, and experience coordinating large, complex cross-functional projects.
