Engineering Manager (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $110,400–$220,800 annual base salary, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and support a cross-functional engineering team delivering growth-critical systems and features.
• Partner with Product and Design to define scope, prioritize work, and maintain execution.
• Provide technical guidance on architecture, implementation, code quality, reliability, and speed.
• Improve team processes, communication, collaboration, and alignment across time zones.
• Use AI tooling to improve individual and team productivity.
• Stay hands-on by writing production-grade code in the codebase.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering high-quality results in collaborative environments.
• Strong people leadership, coaching, communication, and organizational skills.
• Solid backend technical foundation with experience in design discussions and code reviews.
• Strong individual contributor background and ability to write production-grade code.
• High proficiency in AI-driven development and automation.
• Familiarity with TypeScript, Rust, Go, Python, or similar modern programming languages.

Nice to have

• Experience with analytics, performance or paid marketing, experimentation, or growth tooling.
• Background in developer experience, SDKs, or internal platforms.
• Experience scaling teams or processes during high-growth phases.
