What you will do

• Troubleshoot, design, install, and repair compactors and power units.
• Replace hydraulic cylinders and fabricate replacement hoses and fittings.
• Weld steel components using MIG and arc welding equipment.
• Cut and fabricate steel components using plasma cutters and torches.
• Perform on-site repairs at customer locations and install company and safety decals.
• Follow safety procedures, complete required paperwork, and refer complex repairs to senior technicians.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license required.
• At least two years of experience with hydraulic pumps and hoses.
• Proficiency with welding, hydraulics, or electronics.
• Ability to use MIG and stick welders, plasma cutters, and airless paint sprayers.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.
