Container Shop Technician

What you will do

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair compactors and other stationary equipment.
• Read electrical schematics and troubleshoot single- and three-phase AC systems, including high-voltage equipment.
• Read hydraulic schematics and repair hydraulic systems.
• Install or assist with the installation of compactors and stationary equipment.
• Perform welding and fabrication work as needed.
• Complete repair records accurately, maintain daily efficiency, and follow safety procedures.

Requirements

• Experience maintaining and repairing equipment.
• Welding and/or fabrication skills or experience.
• Knowledge of basic and advanced hand tools.
• Ability to work safely with electrical, hydraulic, and stationary equipment systems.
