National College Leadership Trainee - Orange County

Location: Anaheim, California, United States. The role requires working at hotel locations in major metro markets, with flexibility to relocate. Training includes in-person instruction at the corporate office in Chicago, Illinois. Trainee placements may be available across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Europe.

Salary: $70,304.00–$70,304.01 per year.

What you will do

• Complete a five-month Manager in Training program with technical, operations, and sales rotations.
• Build hands-on experience alongside field leaders in event venues.
• Prepare for placement as an Operations Manager, Associate Producer, Director of Events, or Venue Sales Manager.
• Manage floor operations, service delivery, staff leadership, performance management, and development in operations roles.
• Guide customers through event experiences, identify suitable solutions, and support event and revenue capture in sales roles.
• Control workforce and inventory costs while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree with a BA or BS.
• At least one year of related professional experience or a combination of employment and internships.
• Strong interest in a management career with advancement opportunities.
• Excellent communication, listening, presentation, leadership, and customer-service skills.
• Technical aptitude and interest in new technology.
• Ability to work at a hotel location in a major metro market and flexibility to relocate.

Nice to have

• Degree or experience in hospitality, business, management, communications, event management, theater, operations, technology, or a related field.
• Prior management, operations, technology, or hospitality experience.
