Shipper/Receiver (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Prepare, package, document, stage, and secure customer shipments.
• Receive incoming materials, verify them against purchase orders, and inspect them for damage or discrepancies.
• Record receipts and material movements in ERP or inventory management systems.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, labeling, and organized storage.
• Coordinate with production, quality, purchasing, logistics, and management to support material flow and on-time delivery.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks while following warehouse safety and transportation requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and experience with ERP or inventory systems.
• Ability to read packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documentation.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Ability to work onsite in Cookeville in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP, AS400/BPCS, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms.
• Forklift certification.
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
