Continuous Improvement Engineer

Location: Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico; onsite with travel required

What you will do

• Develop, evaluate, revise, apply, and deploy quality assurance tools, methods, and work content.
• Support inspection, verification, validation, quality systems, process development, customer assurance, and supplier quality activities.
• Ensure processes and products comply with quality, industry, customer, supplier, government, ISO, Six Sigma, and Lean requirements.
• Analyze inspection, quality, process, customer, and supplier data to identify trends and recommend corrective action or improvement plans.
• Conduct random, scheduled, and unscheduled audits against specifications, technical drawings, manuals, and company procedures.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, customers, suppliers, certifying bodies, and other external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Typically 5+ years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Extensive knowledge of quality principles, industry standards, and quality assurance practices.
• Strong ISO knowledge.
• Ability to develop solutions to complex problems, exercise independent judgment, and coordinate work across departments.
• Ability to travel; yellow belt certification may be required.
