Manager - Customer Service

Location: Buffalo Grove, Illinois, United States; 1st shift, on-site

Salary: USD 78,700–125,900 per year

What you will do

• Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate customer service team members while promoting strong performance and professional development.
• Delegate workloads, maintain balanced job coverage, plan vacation backup, and prevent workflow bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with customers, sales representatives, production teams, the plant, and outside service providers.
• Resolve customer issues, procure work for the company, and represent the organization professionally.
• Provide training and hands-on support for customer service procedures and production-related activities.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and communicate workflow, skills, and process information across teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the function and at least 5 years of related experience.
• At least 5 years of experience managing or supervising a team.
• Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, email, and internet tools.
• Ability to work the 1st shift in Buffalo Grove, Illinois.
