Data Center Construction - Mid to Senior Project Manager (MEP)

Location: Springfield, Illinois, with approximately 4–5 days per week onsite subject to client needs

Salary: $145,000–$165,000 per year, commensurate with experience

What you will do

• Manage the full scope of construction projects while supporting components of other projects.
• Lead teams and manage project schedules, scopes, budgets, risks, contingencies, and recovery plans.
• Represent the client and guide informed decisions as an owner’s representative.
• Manage invoicing, collections, contracts, and add-services opportunities.
• Collaborate with clients, architects and engineers, contractors, general contractors, vendors, and project teams.
• Resolve complex project conflicts, conduct requirements gathering, and assess client needs.

Requirements

• 7+ years of construction project management experience.
• 5+ years managing critical-environment construction projects such as data centers, laboratories, or hospitals.
• 2+ years of MEP experience in ground-up construction.
• Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or equivalent experience in a construction-related discipline.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Availability for approximately 4–5 days per week onsite in Springfield, Illinois, subject to client needs.
