Senior Construction Manager (Data Centers)

Salary: $179,064.64–$204,645.30 per year

What you will do

• Lead the planning, design coordination, construction, commissioning, and turnover of complex data center projects.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, quality, contractor performance, procurement, and project risk.
• Lead, mentor, and develop construction management staff and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, executives, and internal stakeholders.
• Lead OAC, preconstruction, progress, and project coordination meetings and provide executive-level reporting.
• Promote injury-free construction, enforce safety policies, maintain QA/QC standards, and coordinate site logistics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 20 years of construction management experience on complex commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects.
• At least 5 years of experience leading construction management or large multidisciplinary project teams.
• Experience managing all construction phases, including planning, procurement, execution, commissioning, and closeout.
• Strong understanding of commercial and industrial building systems, with a focus on data center design and construction.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, organizational, budgeting, scheduling, and risk-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering hyperscale or mission-critical data center projects.
• Owner’s representative or construction management consulting experience.
• Experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects and large field teams.
• Familiarity with commissioning, QA/QC programs, and complex MEP systems.
• OSHA 30 certification or other construction safety certifications.
