Senior Manager, Finance - Capital Reporting (Insurance)

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States; hybrid schedule with in-office attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Salary: $136,000–$180,000 annually, plus potential annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead an FP&A team responsible for management reporting and selected regulatory reporting deliverables.
• Prepare and approve capital-related reporting packages for senior management, governance committees, and other stakeholders.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing analysis of capital generation results.
• Partner with Corporate FP&A, Actuarial, Risk, Treasury, Tax, Accounting, and business units to align capital forecasts and reporting.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives and potentially lead large projects.
• Coach team members, manage performance reviews, plan succession, and maintain a controlled process environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
• At least ten years of accounting or finance experience, including five years of supervisory or management experience.
• Strong people management, communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and financial business systems.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of insurance products, statutory reporting, management reporting, and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of NAIC Risk Based Capital requirements.
• Experience with Oracle ERP planning and forecasting.
