Solution Engineer (BOP)

What you will do

• Manage Balance of Plant equipment through proposals, contract award, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, and plant startup.
• Develop generic and site-specific technical specifications and Master Document Lists defining supplier deliverables and schedules.
• Evaluate supplier bids, prepare technical bid tabulations, and support procurement activities, including e-bids and e-auctions.
• Lead supplier technical design reviews and coordinate engineering documentation submissions and approvals.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests to verify equipment performance and compliance with project requirements.
• Support commissioning and startup activities while responding to technical inquiries, RFIs, PCMs, and field design requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in Balance of Plant equipment design, engineering, and project execution.
• Strong knowledge of BOP equipment design, sizing, and application requirements, including fuel gas systems, pumps, control valves, and cooling water systems.
• Experience with supplier evaluations, technical design reviews, Factory Acceptance Testing, and commissioning.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for collaboration with engineering, procurement, suppliers, and customers.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
