Senior BMS Design Engineer (BMS)

What you will do

• Deliver BMS system design for complex projects, including system architecture, topology, instrumentation, hardware, and software specifications.
• Develop I/O lists, client sequences of operations, SOPs, cost estimates, and FAT/SAT documentation.
• Manage client interfaces and BMS integrators while coordinating with design, construction, quality, contractor, and plant teams.
• Support commissioning activities, including installation and operational verification, alarm testing, loop checks, and witness testing.
• Lead commissioning resources and participate in project, design, ISO, and company meetings.
• Resolve day-to-day technical issues and develop solutions to achieve project goals.

Requirements

• Level 8 university engineering degree, such as Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, with at least five years of relevant experience; alternatively, a minimum five-year apprenticeship or related technical diploma with six or more years of experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, health-related, or GMP manufacturing facilities.
• Strong BMS background and knowledge of network configuration, computer hardware, software, and automation applications.
• Understanding of current good manufacturing practices, 21 CFR Part 11, 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211, and Annex 11.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with employees at all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related applications.
