General-Purpose Software Engineer (C/C++/Python)

What you will do

• Own the full lifecycle of software tools, from design and prototyping through development, release, deployment, and maintenance.
• Augment existing tools and integrate products from other teams into operational toolsets.
• Derive, document, and analyze requirements with analysts, operators, and software engineers.
• Build prototypes and end-to-end capabilities that operate within mission constraints.
• Provide technical consulting and rapid operational support across software products and technologies.
• Participate in peer code reviews and support fielded software systems.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly is required.
• Six years of experience, plus a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or four additional years of experience in place of the degree; alternatively, four years of experience with a master's degree.
• Production and modification of software systems in C, C++, and Python, including explicit network programming experience.
• Experience supporting fielded software systems and coordinating with operators, analysts, and developers.
• Reverse engineering experience.
• Familiarity with Git, Subversion, and Atlassian tools including Confluence, Jira, and Bamboo.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, C#, or Rust.
• Experience developing CNO software in Linux, Windows, or embedded environments.
• Experience in vulnerability research, exploit development, malware reverse engineering, or cryptography.
• Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems or production CNO capabilities and operations.

• Annual salary of $200,000–$219,000.
• Additional $50,000–$55,000 in immediately vested company 401(k) contributions.
