Category Management Director - Indirect Sourcing (AI)

Location: Hybrid work with three days per week in the office in Irving, Texas; Chicago, Illinois; Cape Girardeau, Missouri; or Centennial, Colorado. Willingness to travel is required.

Salary: $102,400–$179,000 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Develop and lead category strategies for assigned indirect sourcing portfolios.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including requirements development, RFI/RFP execution, supplier evaluation, negotiations, contracting, and implementation.
• Facilitate committees and value analysis discussions with physicians, clinicians, supply chain professionals, executives, suppliers, and operational stakeholders.
• Analyze spend, utilization, supplier performance, and market data to identify savings, standardization, quality, technology adoption, and efficiency opportunities.
• Present strategies, sourcing recommendations, and outcomes to executive-level audiences while mentoring team members.
• Apply and evaluate AI tools to improve category strategy, market intelligence, communications, analysis, and business decision-making.

Requirements

• 7 or more years of relevant experience in category management, strategic sourcing, supply chain, consulting, healthcare operations, contracting, or a related field.
• Experience leading complex sourcing and category management initiatives.
• Strong negotiation and contracting experience with complex supplier agreements.
• Advanced analytical, executive communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to influence executive, clinical, operational, supplier, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to work in the office three days per week at one of the listed U.S. locations and willingness to travel.
