Co-op, Life Cycle Engineering - Systems (Medical Devices)

Location: Hybrid position based in Acton, Massachusetts, United States; transportation to the Acton office is required.

Salary: $25.00–$34.00 annual base salary range.

What you will do

• Work with systems, software, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams on device reliability and new product development projects.
• Use laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, power analyzers, Instron systems, pressure transducers, OGP equipment, and high-speed cameras.
• Investigate bugs, troubleshoot devices, and support root cause analysis and mitigation of reliability issues.
• Design test procedures, perform custom tests, and analyze data for qualifications and design enhancements.
• Create protocols, reports, and design history file documentation while driving team alignment and approvals.
• Assist with or lead Engineering Change Orders.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor's program in biomedical, electrical, computer, chemical, mechanical, industrial, or bio-engineering.
• Mechanical aptitude and a hands-on approach to laboratory work.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong documentation, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-based visa sponsorship.
