Sr. Systems Engineer - Medical Device

Location: Mounds View, Minnesota, United States of America; minimum 4 days per week onsite

Salary: $110,400–$165,600 per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Incentive Plan.

What you will do

• Conduct interface testing within medical device systems and during commercial support.
• Integrate cardiac ablation systems into electrophysiology catheterization laboratory environments.
• Develop integration, characterization, and troubleshooting tests with cross-functional development teams.
• Create testing, training, and guidance documentation.
• Support marketing, field engineering, technical services, and training teams with technical questions.
• Propose and implement improvements to systems and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with at least 2 years, or a PhD with no required experience.
• Advanced systems engineering skills and medical device experience.
• Experience defining systems architecture in medical device product development.
• Experience applying design controls for medical devices.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is not available for roles below Principal level.

• Advanced understanding of electrophysiology and comfort working in a hospital environment.
