Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (HVAC)

Location: Tyler, Texas, United States; onsite Monday through Thursday, with flexible work location on Fridays. Travel to manufacturing and supplier sites is required, up to 40%.

Salary: $88,000–$159,180 annual base salary.

What you will do

• Develop manufacturing solutions with product design and site manufacturing engineering using 3P, DFM, and Lean principles.
• Estimate costs and budgets for equipment, facility rearrangements, and manufacturing projects.
• Manage projects from scope definition through procurement, equipment commissioning, and site acceptance.
• Evaluate manufacturing technologies including robotics, automation, copper and aluminum joining, sheet metal fabrication, assembly, and packaging.
• Develop long-range facility plans and support productivity and sustainability initiatives at manufacturing sites.
• Provide technical leadership in resolving manufacturing process and product design problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience in an HVAC or heavy industrial environment is preferred.
• Project management experience is preferred.
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Thursday in Tyler, Texas and travel up to 40%.
