Member of Operations Staff (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; on-site

Salary: $150K–$225K annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Own cross-functional projects end to end, from scoping through execution.
• Build and operate processes that strengthen the company’s operational backbone as it scales.
• Execute projects across operations, people, and business systems.
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities before they become obvious.
• Analyze data to inform decisions and track progress.
• Communicate with stakeholders ranging from engineers to executives and take on high-priority work as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in operations, consulting, finance, or a similar business-side role.
• Ability to own projects end to end without close supervision.
• Experience pulling and interpreting data to drive decisions.
• Ability to communicate credibly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-paced, and high-intensity environments.
• Active use of AI tools to automate tasks, optimize workflows, and direct agents, plus a strong interest in AI for science.

Nice to have

• Experience at a high-growth startup or early-stage company.
• An MBA, MPP, JD, or a pre-career path in a rigorous analytical field.
• Formal or professional background in a scientific domain.
