Senior Data Center Construction Manager (AI)

Location: Finland; Remote (US); on-site work and regular travel to project sites required

What you will do

• Manage data center construction projects from planning through commissioning, turnover, and operational handoff.
• Lead white-space fit-out, including racks, containment, power distribution, cooling integration, and network readiness.
• Coordinate colo providers, general contractors, vendors, trade partners, procurement, supply chain, and internal engineering teams.
• Own cost, schedule, quality, safety, change orders, project reporting, critical-path reviews, and recovery plans.
• Identify risks, resolve integration issues between colo infrastructure and hirify.global systems, and escalate material issues with recommendations.
• Verify field progress, support commissioning and punch-list completion, and maintain turnover documentation.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in mission-critical construction, preferably data centers.
• Deep experience delivering white-space fit-out projects in colocation environments.
• Strong understanding of power, cooling, controls, and rack-level infrastructure in high-density environments.
• Experience managing multiple complex projects and working with EPC firms, general contractors, specialty trades, and colo providers.
• Strong project controls and commercial skills, including scheduling, change-order review, contract administration, and cost control.
• Working knowledge of commissioning, quality control, safety, project turnover, construction-management tools, scheduling tools, and reporting systems.
