Staff Project Manager (Digital Manufacturing)

Annual base salary: $111,520–$153,340, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the Digital Manufacturing program framework, including scope, objectives, workstreams, milestones, and deliverables.
• Build and manage integrated technical project plans covering hardware and software interfaces, edge and network data infrastructure, inspection systems, and analytics.
• Coordinate NPI Engineering, Digital Engineering, Controls Engineering, IT, Operations, and Quality teams.
• Drive alignment between manufacturing equipment, automated inspection systems, enterprise data pipelines, and production software platforms.
• Lead the transition of digital tools and data architectures into sustainable daily production with clear ownership, SLAs, and support models.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, architecture gaps, resource constraints, and execution bottlenecks while reporting progress to executive leadership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive project or program management experience in advanced manufacturing, digital manufacturing, consumer electronics, or technology engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing data systems, SCADA/MES integration, shop-floor data collection, automated inspection data pipelines, and digital thread concepts.
• Experience leading complex, multi-million-dollar cross-functional engineering programs from NPI through production scaling.
• Expertise with stage-gate and Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools including Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or Smartsheet.

Nice to have

• PMP or equivalent certification.
• Experience with high-precision consumer technology, hardware NPI, or automated non-destructive inspection deployments.
• Hands-on experience with industrial IoT, edge computing, quality data systems, or enterprise data architecture in scaled manufacturing environments.
