Technical Project Manager

Location: Pittsburgh, PA, United States; office environment with up to 20% travel

Salary: $96,069–$155,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead complex technical projects and multidimensional programs from design through delivery.
• Align Product, Engineering, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams on technical approaches, timelines, and commitments.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource forecasts, and recovery plans.
• Identify and mitigate technical, regulatory, and supply chain risks while communicating actionable information to stakeholders and Engineering leadership.
• Oversee hardware design reviews, EVT prototype builds, DVT/PVT activities, and test strategy.
• Support reliability testing, design for manufacturability, and design for test.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, finance, or business.
• 5+ years of technical program management experience and 10+ years in project, program, development, or product management.
• Strong understanding of hardware and software development lifecycles, including the hardware concept-to-launch process.
• Strong background in Agile iterative development and familiarity with the Product Operating Model.
• Strong communication, presentation, report-writing, business acumen, budget-tracking, and technical specification skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, analyze complex problems, and communicate possible paths forward.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PgMP, CPM, or DAU.
