Senior Claims Analyst (Casualty and Environmental Liability)

Location: Remote - USA

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annual

What you will do

• Investigate, analyze, evaluate, document, and manage complex casualty and environmental claims.
• Perform coverage, liability, and damage assessments across environmental insurance products.
• Make coverage determinations and draft written positions for insureds and other parties.
• Set and manage reserves while developing strategies for early and cost-effective claim resolution.
• Manage litigation and counsel, including planning, budgeting, bill review, and payment.
• Represent the company in management and carrier meetings, mediations, and trials.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree required; JD degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of related experience, preferably handling liability or cleanup claims or working in a legal position.
• Experience with complex auto liability is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication, coverage analysis, and drafting skills.
• Ability to review and evaluate technical, legal, and medical information.
• Strong relationship-building, initiative, time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
