Medicaid Implementation Senior Project Manager (Healthcare)

Location: Remote across the United States, with work typically scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Occasional travel of up to 10% to hirify.global office locations may be required.

Salary: $86,300–$118,700 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Manage complex, end-to-end Medicaid implementation projects from requirements analysis and planning through deployment and closure.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, resources, schedules, budgets, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues.
• Lead business-side process changes and provide limited support for IT implementation activities.
• Define Statements of Work and specifications for Medicaid contracts and RFPs.
• Maintain project documentation, quality controls, status reports, and risk management plans.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders, external agencies, and executives while resolving issues and mitigating risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or five years of relevant work experience.
• At least five years of formal project management experience with large-scale initiatives.
• At least two years of change management experience.
• At least three years of experience in a managed care healthcare system or health plan.
• Experience working with Medicaid and/or Medicare.
• Must work remotely from the United States and be available for Eastern Time business hours.

Nice to have

• Experience in a matrixed environment.
• Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile methodologies.
• Health plan business operations or consulting experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Smartsheet.
• Prosci, Six Sigma, or Project Management Institute certifications.
