Solutions Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Remote in Canada; occasional travel across the US and Canada is required.

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year.

What you will do

• Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer needs, industry challenges, and value opportunities.
• Design, customize, and demonstrate solutions using hirify.global’s application suite and partner technologies.
• Advise customers and prospects by aligning business requirements with platform capabilities.
• Provide technical expertise during RFIs and RFPs, including configurations, integrations, and objection handling.
• Collaborate with product, sales, customer success, and management teams to support sales goals and customer outcomes.
• Travel occasionally across the US and Canada for customer and partner meetings, conferences, and relationship building.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or in a similar consultative role within fintech or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable, payments, or similar financial processes.
• Experience with enterprise-level selling and customer-facing engagements.
• Familiarity with enterprise accounting platforms such as Oracle NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to simplify complex concepts, cross-functional collaboration experience, and willingness to travel across the US and Canada.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of JavaScript, REST APIs, HTML5/CSS, and SQL.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles.
