Solutions Engineer (Fintech)

Location: United States (Remote). Occasional travel across the US and Canada is required.

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Conduct customer discovery sessions to understand business needs, industry challenges, and value opportunities.
• Design, customize, and demonstrate solutions using hirify.global’s application suite and partner technologies.
• Act as a trusted advisor by aligning customer requirements with product capabilities and explaining business value.
• Provide technical expertise throughout sales cycles, including RFIs, RFPs, configurations, integrations, and objection handling.
• Collaborate with product, sales, customer success, and management teams to deliver customer outcomes and achieve business goals.
• Travel across the US and Canada to meet clients and partners and attend conferences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or in a similar consultative role within fintech or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable, payments, or similar financial processes.
• Experience with enterprise-level selling and customer-facing roles.
• Familiarity with accounting platforms such as Oracle NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Excellent communication, presentation, cross-functional collaboration, project management, and deadline-management skills; willingness to travel across the US and Canada.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of JavaScript, REST APIs, HTML5/CSS, and SQL.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles.
