Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Maintain the operational security posture of information systems supporting Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities.
• Prepare, review, and update system authorization packages and security documentation.
• Coordinate hardware, software, and firmware changes across authorization boundaries with the ISSM and authorization officials.
• Conduct security compliance reviews, self-inspections, audit record analysis, and security impact assessments.
• Identify cybersecurity vulnerabilities, support countermeasure implementation, and monitor system recovery processes.
• Provide day-to-day ISSO support to internal and external customers and assist the ISSM with security responsibilities.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required.
• TS/SCI clearance required; must be able to attain TS/SCI with CI polygraph.
• At least 2 years of related experience, including required SAP experience.
• Prior experience as a system administrator, network administrator, or ISSO.
• Bachelor's degree in a related area, an associate degree plus 2 years of experience, or equivalent experience totaling 4 years.
• IAT Level II or IAM Level II certification, such as Security+ CE or CCNA Security, within 6 months of hire; ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• GICSP or GSEC certification.
