Specialist, Cyber Intelligence (ISSO) (Cybersecurity)

Location: Palm Bay, Florida, United States. Onsite role with a 9/80 work schedule. The position requires TS/SCI DoD clearance, and security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.

What you will do

• Maintain information system security controls and continuous monitoring in accordance with NIST SP 800-53 and applicable government directives.
• Conduct system audits, risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and compliance reviews using SIEM, Nessus, ACAS, and related tools.
• Review system configurations against DISA STIG standards and remediate identified vulnerabilities and compliance issues.
• Respond to, investigate, analyze, and report cyber incidents, events, anomalies, and security violations.
• Develop and update documentation supporting Authority to Operate processes for assigned information systems.
• Participate in Change Control Boards and conduct security awareness training for system users.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or an associate degree with at least 8 years of related experience, or a graduate degree with at least 2 years of related experience.
• TS/SCI DoD clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship is required for security-clearance eligibility.
• Security+ certification required, with ongoing cyber certification maintenance as required by the customer contract.
• Experience with information system security, incident response, audits, risk assessments, and continuous monitoring.

Nice to have

• ISSO experience supporting classified systems under JSIG, ICD 503, or 32 CFR Part 117 Section 18.
• Practical experience with Nessus, SCAP, vulnerability scan analysis, and DISA STIG checklists.
• Linux/Unix information system security experience, including audit-log archiving.
