Sr. Claims Consultant – Leave & Disability

Annual base salary: $78,990–$98,740 USD

What you will do

• Manage external and internal audits and support regulatory, market conduct, and state examinations.
• Serve as a technical and business process expert for Claims staff and management.
• Analyze claims data to support management reporting, quality control, staffing recommendations, and process metrics.
• Troubleshoot claim transactions across multiple administration systems and work with business analysts on solutions and workarounds.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lead small- to medium-sized projects involving processes, systems, and controls.
• Support IT initiatives through process-flow contributions, user requirements, user acceptance testing, and business-driven solutions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Hands-on experience with FINEOS is required.
• Claims experience in an environment requiring strong analytical and communication skills; 10+ years is preferred.
• Experience auditing claims for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Experience with process or system improvement projects and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Ability to influence and motivate stakeholders across departments to develop shared-customer solutions.
