Product Manager - Valves and Cartridges

Location: Hybrid position based at the Deerfield, Illinois campus, with work from home on Mondays and Fridays; occasional travel up to 15%

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 USD base salary, plus an annual bonus plan or role-based sales incentive plan.

What you will do

• Develop product strategies and plans for the Moen valves and cartridges portfolio, aligning performance, pricing, supply chain, and long-term business goals.
• Guide new product development and innovation initiatives through the full stage-gate process.
• Translate customer needs, market trends, competitive insights, and technical requirements into roadmap priorities and product launches.
• Partner with Sales, Revenue Growth Management, Analytics, Finance, Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams.
• Support go-to-market activities, sales training, industry events, product communications, and marketing materials.
• Monitor product performance, communicate product priorities, and provide guidance to internal teams and external partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in product management, product development, or engineering leadership for high-volume manufactured products.
• Experience with plumbing, kitchen and bath, water delivery, valve, cartridge, or other fluid-control technologies.
• Knowledge of sealing technologies, elastomeric and ceramic components, flow performance, cavitation, acoustic and noise reduction, durability, and lifecycle requirements.
• Ability to build product strategies and business cases using customer, competitive, engineering, financial, and market insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to travel up to 15%.

Nice to have

• MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with high-volume consumer, commercial, or automotive fluid-control products.
• Background in building products, home improvement, durable goods, or both B2C and B2B product environments.
• Familiarity with connected product technologies or smart home categories.
