Lead Analyst Data Analytics (Fintech)

Location: Remote - Nationwide, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT sponsorship, is not available.

Base salary: $105,700–$149,275 per year, plus potential bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead complex analyses across variable business and data factors.
• Develop dashboards, analytical models, analytical frameworks, and reporting solutions.
• Connect data from multiple systems to improve visibility into staff and business performance.
• Investigate complex datasets, identify meaningful patterns, validate results, and answer business questions.
• Improve data workflows and collaborate with technology teams on data structures, pipelines, and automation.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, advise on analytical methods, contribute to roadmaps, and mentor junior analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, statistics, business, data science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 7–10+ years of analytics experience.
• Ability to read SQL and use queries to understand expected outputs and data relationships.
• Experience with large, complex datasets and data structures.
• Experience with BI and data visualization tools; Tableau-to-Amazon QuickSight transition experience is relevant, as is Power BI.
• Ability to independently lead analyses, synthesize insights, manage timelines, collaborate across business and technology teams, and support business decisions.

• Master’s degree.
• Intellectual curiosity and the ability to validate assumptions, ask follow-up questions, and connect information across multiple data sources.
• Ability to assess the business value of analytical requests and communicate a clear analytical story.
