Senior Systems Security Manager (Aerospace)

Salary: $165,010.21–$226,889.04 annually

What you will do

• Develop and execute strategic systems security initiatives, policies, and practices.
• Lead and mentor a team of senior security professionals, including performance management, career development, training, and succession planning.
• Oversee high-stakes security projects, risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and incident response.
• Coordinate responses to SAP-related security incidents in accordance with DoDM 5205.07 and SAPF/SCIF procedures.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and report security posture and incidents to executive leadership.
• Evaluate and integrate security technologies while maintaining compliance with industry and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in systems security, network engineering, information technology, or a related engineering field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 11+ years of experience in IT security or a related field, including at least two years as an ISSM for SAP classified systems.
• Experience with UNIX, Linux, Windows, large-scale server systems, thin clients, system virtualization, and related infrastructure.
• Full-lifecycle Assessment and Authorization experience under SAP JSIG, NISPOM, DoD RMF, ICD 503, and NIST RMF.
• Experience supporting SAPF/SCIF environments and coordinating with CSSOs and Program Security Officials.
• Current/active Top Secret U.S. security clearance with SCI eligibility and U.S. citizenship are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Splunk, ELK, ACAS/Nessus, HBSS, eMASS, or Xacta.
• Knowledge of DoD, government contracting, public auditing, and related standards.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, intelligence, NASA, space, or the U.S. military.
• CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar certifications.
