Information Systems Security Manager (TS//SCI) (Aerospace)

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, willingness to submit to a CI polygraph, and eligibility to work with ITAR-controlled information as a U.S. person or through an applicable federal export-control license.

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 base salary per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Build and manage a team of Information System Security Officers and maintain a formal Information Systems Security Program.
• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, controls, and configuration baselines.
• Lead risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, security audits, authorization packages, system accreditations, and Assessment & Authorization activities.
• Coordinate with the CPSO, IT, engineering, program management, external organizations, and government agencies on secure system operations.
• Support secure operating systems, networks, DevSecOps, virtualization, endpoint protection, identity and access management, encryption, and cloud solutions.
• Deliver security training, investigate incidents, implement corrective actions, and establish a Configuration Control Board charter.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in cybersecurity, IT, or a related field with 4+ years of experience, or bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience.
• 5+ years of information assurance experience supporting national security systems and experience as an ISSM, ISSO, or ISSE.
• Hands-on knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, DoDI 8510.01, CNSSI 1253, JSIG/ICD 503, STIG/SRG, and other DoD cybersecurity policies.
• Experience with Tenable Nessus, SCAP, DISA STIG Viewer, logging and monitoring, patch management, and RMF documentation including SSP, SAR/SAP, and POA&M.
• Current DoD 8570/8140 Tier III certification or higher, such as CISSP or CISM.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to submit to a CI polygraph are required.

Nice to have

• Additional certifications such as CAP, CEH, GSEC, or GSLC.
• Experience supporting Defense and Intelligence Community programs.
• Familiarity with DoD Cloud SRG, IL2–IL6, GovCloud, or IC ITE environments.
• Experience establishing secure SCI or SAP networks and obtaining an ATO for aerospace systems.
