What you will do

• Build and manage a team of Information System Security Officers.
• Develop, implement, and enforce information security policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and security audits.
• Manage security authorization packages, system accreditations, and a Configuration Control Board.
• Coordinate with IT, engineering, program management, and government agencies for secure operations.
• Investigate security incidents, provide training, and ensure personnel training compliance.

Requirements

• Master’s in cybersecurity/IT +4 years or Bachelor’s +6 years experience; 5+ years in information assurance for national security systems.
• Hands-on with NIST SP 800-53, DoDI 8510.01, CNSSI 1253, JSIG/ICD 503, STIG/SRG, and DoD policies.
• Proficiency in Tenable Nessus, SCAP, DISA STIG Viewer, log/monitoring, patch management.
• Experience developing SSP, SAR/SAP, POA&M, RMF evidence; strong technical writing.
• Knowledge of network security, Windows/Linux hardening, virtualization, IAM, encryption.
• Experience as ISSM, ISSO, or ISSE; DoD 8570/8140 Tier III certification (CISSP, CISM); Active TS/SCI Clearance.

• Additional certifications (CAP, CEH, GSEC, GSLC).
• Experience supporting Defense/Intelligence Community, secure cloud/hybrid (DoD Cloud SRG, GovCloud).
• Standing up secure networks at commercial orgs or obtaining ATO for aerospace systems.
