Senior IT Security Specialist (Cybersecurity)

Location: United States citizenship required due to the nature of the work performed within the facilities.

Salary: USD $126,862–$137,269 per year

What you will do

• Provide security engineering, systems integration, and technical support for customer environments.
• Develop and implement security controls, defenses, and countermeasures for enterprise systems, networks, applications, email, and data.
• Deploy, configure, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize cybersecurity products, including firewalls, endpoint detection and response, intrusion detection and prevention, SIEM, vulnerability management, email security, DLP, encryption, and IAM technologies.
• Support network infrastructure, servers, workstations, operating systems, hardware, and software.
• Administer security policies governing physical and virtual access while maintaining confidentiality, integrity, availability, reliability, and performance.
• Analyze security alerts, diagnose technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Master’s degree plus at least 6 years of relevant experience, or a related bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience developing, testing, debugging, and administering enterprise products that support security protocols.
• Experience deploying, configuring, integrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise cybersecurity products and supporting network, server, workstation, operating system, hardware, and software environments.
• Strong knowledge of incident response, disaster recovery, cyber threats, security controls, defensive technologies, network architecture, endpoint support, security architecture, and system lifecycle management.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
